ahh ok u'll prob all think im a lil stupid but i have no knowledge of how pc's work and mine had to be reformatted about amonth ago and now my volume control thingo isnt down on my task bar, i went to sound controls and it has no thing there to do it , i've got win 98 can anyone help?

go to control panel -> sounds

down the bottom of the window that pops up is a check box that says "show volume control on the taskbar" check it and voila

i hope that's what you're after

yeah i did but there is no check box believe it or not, thats the advice evryone has given me so maybe im blind, it only has options to add sounds for events.... thanks anyway much appreciated:)

if you're already installed the drivers.. do an uninstall and then reinstall... as WART said!
