Admin mod broken?

I have installed admin mod on my linux box with cs 1.3. When I enter the server and type admin_help 16 help commands come up, which is all good.

Now the problem is, I added myself and a friend in the users.ini file via wonid and I even tried to add our regular user names.

Regardless of what I do, admin mod WON’T restrict the users in the users.ini file from joining the sever with-out a password. And it won’t give us permissions.

Also when I installed admin-mod I had to make a user.ini file. One was not created! Is that normal? Or should the install make one?


The settings are correct in the server.cfg file regarding the name of the users.ini file and password field.

Try setting up your server and admin access using Moo's guide first. It may resolve some issues.

It will let the users you have in the users.ini file in the server as long as they are not reserved. After they are in they can issue the passwd.

The problem was the damn server.cfg file was not a true txt file. It had special charaters where paragraghs should have been. And i think it wasn't linux delimited.
