What gets by CSguard?

Well, CSguard has banned about 200 players since 1/24/2002 when I first installed it and I can't say enought good things about it :) ......but I notice a few players still get by it with some kind of cheats.....question is Does anyone know what gets by CSguard at this point and time? And how besides their great record 30-2 can I tell if someone is using some kind of cheat. It's hard to ghost them around all the time just watching them....is there any clues that give them away besides their record?

ogc 7 pretty much gets past csguard..

i think some ogc 7's get caught, but 7.3x dont

you'll have to go into spectator mode and watch them, see if they seem to be able to see others thru walls and seems to perfectly follow other people etc.

csguard comes with an aimbot detector, and it works well, i suggest u use it.
all ogc is caught by the aimbot detector if you have it set right. (and the cheater is using aimbot)

Now what if I would like to test these cheats against my server to see which get caught and which don't...is there a place where you can get these cheats on the web? did a search for OGC 7.3 and came up with nothing how do these players get their hands on these cheats? Do they buy them on Ebay or something? i know there must be something available for admins to run on their own servers to see what gets by and what doesn't. Do any admins that you know run any kind of tests like this to see where they stand against cheaters? Also you talk of setting it the right way to catch all cheaters and how would that be? I see all the commands in the csguard files but wouldn't have a clue how to set them the right way to detect all cheaters.

I use it, but you say it should be setup right. What would you consider setup right? I am using bob's config BTW, heard it was good. Is it any good? Just want some extra info:D

Let me develop a senario....I'm a counter terrorist and I am at 100 hp a terrorist is running at full speed sideways and while jumping shoots at me at a good distance...I am running also and he takes me out with one shot from the AK47...feasible? For even a great player whats the chances of him hitting me with one shot while on the run? Some of you guys must be good to great players in your own right.....what do you think of the senario?

garyT, that scenario is quite doable. I have seen and done it myself may times. The AK is capable of one shot kills with and without armour. AK is a nasty gun for headshots.

I saw this dude on my server getting a headshot through ii did some execclient **** and got him to tell me that he was using a script he got off the net that his cousin found. He can shoot at any time and will get a headshot on someone through the wall. This thing was way more advanced than ogc.

FOr the sake of these forums I won't post where to get the cheats, but there are a few sites out there that supply the cheater cult with everything. There is even a cheater/hacker forum devoted to CS. Low lifes!

Don't think the moderators want us posting 'where to get the cheats' expecialy in the anti-cheat forum.

Also, it is not that simple as installing the cheat, most of the cheaters do a custom install to avoid detection.

Being a casual cruiser on the cheater forum, they are now running OGC and the like from the CD Drive to avoid detection by CSGuard. Boy, if they just spent half their energy on having fun and getting better instead of resorting to cheating...

Not much we can do but keep your servers updated with new versions of csguard and configs from Bob. Also, try running Cheating Death along with CSguard...best combo in my opinion.

I have yet to catch a ogc 7.3 user, i have caught a few 7.0 and 7.2 ogc users with csguard as well as lots of aimbot users.

It's pretty much a personal preference...some people swear by OLO's, others by Bob's.....I personally use Bob's because I like his settings....you can get all versions of CSGUARD, including the new 6.33.3 and all of Bob's configs from our site...there are several other configs to choose from as well!

ps. Bob uploads his configs directly to us, so we always have the latest versions...
