Hey Guys , This Might Not Happen To Many Of You But Alot Of Time On My Dedicated Server People Come In With Viruses And Try To Open my Ports And Try To Put A Virus On My Comp. Well What If We Made A Plugin that Would Scan There HardDrive Looking or Viruses And Identify The Admins On The Server That Some Fag Is On The Server With A Virus.So We Can Ban Them.

Anyway, you may want to ask around the CSGuard forums. They are big into scanning for stuff, but it may be difficult to find a directory from the cstrike dir.

If they have a virus, it is their problem. Scanning for viruses puts you on risky ground me thinks.....

ACTUALLY...it wouldn't bother you, being the server EXECUTES(exec) the filenames, to see if they execute, or if their there, than it will return a value if it executed or not, not meaning it doesn't exist, and being in order to be INFECTED with a virus, it must be executed, or it just sits dormant in the file. So basically your just activating a virus on someone's computer, which is always the best of things to do to fellow gamers and llamas alike..

The exec command, even when run on a virus will not infect either the server or the client.....

Correctamundo..and I use the caps to express this to the noobs being they seem to misunderstand all to often... And that's what I was trying to point out that the server or the server's clients wouldn't get infected.

Not that I would go to your servers when my network includes about 3 servers, and the other 2 I admin on for friends, and then there's Demon servers which I admin for so thats 12 CS, 8 TF, 2 HLDM...so thats...umm*gets calculator out* 27! I have full administrator power on 27 servers, why would I go to any of your 14.4k servers that are prolly running off of the same Pentium 74 proccessor that your daddy first lost his virginity to his brother on?
