First and Last Weekend of TO

Well I finally decided to tryout TO this weekend and spent about 25 hours playing over 3 days.

Never again will I enter a TO server. I understand Y UTers trash TO players :D

Normal game of TO

Round 1, 3 Terros 13 SF. Result Terros are slaughtered.

Round 2, 6 Terros 10 SF. Result Terros are slaughtered and 1 or 2 SF died.

Round 3, 8 Terros 8 SF. By this time majority of SF have highpowered guns and Terros with half pistols and subies.

Rest of game, Terros never recover.

I have never sweared so much because of online gaming and I'm never going back there as its the most unenjoyable gaming I've ever had.

Potentially it should be a good game if they forced team balance, but I think the majority of TO players in the weekend are kids and they all want to be the cops and not the naughty robbers :rolleyes:

Was this TO beta 2.0? The guns favour SF too much in this version and as a result morons always switch to SF.

beta 2.1 has been released which evens up the guns and fixes a lot of other bugs but they have also created a whole heap of new bugs. Another patch should be out soon to fix things.

In the meantime most games turn to ****

I think my mind was lagging badly last weekend ;)

I tried TO ages ago on modem but couldn't even get my gun to fire a full clip of ammo so decided to try again on cable.

I probably will play TO again but under an alias and when I'm too drunk to handle a real game like UT :D

thats how i used to play tac ops
when it was integrated into ut still, it was worth playing now and then just for variation... play it when other servers are full/suck

but having to start an entirely different copy of ut ends the experience

used to play at least a couple of games a week prior to 2.0 but since then ive played 2 i think

i have decided not to play it any more, because there's really no point in playing a mod in beta form. They keep making changes, some good, some stupid..too many bugs.

CS was good until about a month ago. There are so many newbies who come in and try to kill there teammates. But it doesn't have the same problem with teams as TO does.

I can't believe we have been playing the same game. Teams are not always perfect; big deal. CTF is the same.

Why devote a whole post to bitching on TO. Surely anything that keeps UT installed on ppls computers is a good thing.
